A formidable coalition of 150 Catholic, Orthodox, and evangelical leaders is calling on Christians in a new manifesto to reject secular authority and even engage in civil disobedience if laws force them to accept abortion, same-sex marriage, and other ideas that betray their religious beliefs.

There will be something that unites Catholic and Protestant faiths, and it will undoubtedly be the perceived immoralities of the secular population. On top of that, these perceived immoralities will be blamed for the significant problems we are facing today as a country.

The government faces a payment shock similar to those that sent legions of overstretched homeowners into default on their mortgages.

The potential for rapidly escalating interest payouts is just one of the wrenching challenges facing the United States after decades of living beyond its means.

So the U.S. is in a position to default on their debt. What happens when billions, even trillions, of dollars don't get paid back to countries around the world from whom we've borrowed to fund our idiotic economic recovery programs, unnecessary global military conflicts, unsustainable entitlement programs, and other wasteful programs such as the war on drugs?
